Do I have to wear an outside face mask on a walk, bike ride or jog?

If you're hiking or riding your bike outside, most states don't require you to wear a face mask. However, LA County does require residents to wear face masks outside no matter what they do, and some states and counties encourage you to carry a mask with you.

Some guidelines say you should bring a fabric cover in case you pass someone else up close or decide to enter a store. Depending on your local law, you may also be stopped and quoted for not wearing or wearing a mask.
