'Apex Legends' Season 3 Review Latest

Respawn Entertainment's Apex Legends captured the world with an unexpected release on February 2019 and hit more than 50 million players in the first month. Apex Legends season 1 introduced a combat pass and new items, but season 2 brought some radical changes to the game when monsters invaded King's Canyon, new characters were introduced and challenges became a permanent part of the experience.

Respawn Entertainment has released a Roadmap Year 1 for Apex Legends with some clues as to what we can expect from season 3, which will be released in October, and includes new weapons, a new character and many cosmetic items. Ongoing updates that balance weapons or adjust performance or specific characters will happen regularly, but season 3 should contain much more.

Here is everything you need to know about Apex Legends season 3, including the projected start date and time, costs of the battle pass, new characters and much more.

When is the end date of Apex Legends season 2?

Respawn wrote in an official Q&A about the competition: "Each season lasts about three months." Season 1 ended on June 18, a day for the three-month mark - but only because seasons seem to start and end on Tuesday. That's when the Apex Legends weekly reset occurs, along with important game updates.

If that trend continues, season 2 should end on Tuesday, October 1. The countdown timer in the game, however, indicates that the season ends on September 30, probably at 1:00 pm Eastern, leaving a 24-hour window before season 3 begins.

When is the start date of Apex Legends season 3?

Respawn Entertainment released a launch trailer for season 3 on September 27 that confirmed the launch date of October 1.

Season 1 ended on June 18 and Season 2 did not begin until July 2, and lasted two weeks between the end of one season and the start of another. If that trend had been a hero for the transition between season 2 and 3, season 3 would not have started until 15 October. However, that does not seem to be the case.

Season 3 probably starts at 1 p.m. Eastern, when most of the game's updates go live.

What is the Apex Legends season 3 theme?

The theme of season 1 was "Wild Frontier" and introduced players in a new legend called Octane. The theme of season 2 was "Battle Charge", linked to the new character Natalie "Wattson" Paquette who uses electrified fences to damage and delay enemies. What could happen for season 3?

The Season 3 launch trailer, bringing the Legends to a new battle arena, confirms a theme or "Meltdown" on account or all lava in the new World's Edge card.

Do Apex Legends have season 3 card changes?

At the heart of rival battle, Fortnite's generous seasonal combat pass structure fuels fans' interest by changing the map at the start of each season. There have been meteor attacks and volcanic eruptions that destroyed parts of the map, and once a small iceberg collapsed on the main island.

The start of Apex Legends season 1 did not do much, but giant Leviathan ground that circled around the waters around the island and narrower Flyers also started flying around. These many beings invaded the island in season 2 and destroyed certain areas, which led to a time jump between season 1 and 2.

Season 3 really gets things done by migrating the Apex Games over a new arena on a completely different planet. It is called World's Edge on Planet Talos. 'Molten heat and chemical ice' collide in this arena. There is also a train that never stops moving.

Will Apex Legends season 3 contain new characters?

Yes! New characters, called "Legends", are added continuously to Apex Legends, but simultaneously with the combat pass of each season. Octane was released on the same day as Season 1, Season 2 introduced Wattson and Season 3 will add a new hero named Crypto to the line-up.

Season 3 introduces Crypto to the game after it appeared in season 2's launch trailer. His high-tech skills include the use of an aerial drone that can explore the nearby area and even deliver an EMP explosion in a wide area.

In his video "Stories from the Outlands", the real name of Crypto Park is Tae Joon. He and his stepsister Mila Alexander were hackers who came across a program that could predict the winner of the Apex Games. Joon has discovered and framed the syndicate for the disappearance of his own stepsister, so he has been on the run ever since. This explains why he attacked the disruptor tower at the start of season 2 to cause damage to Syndicate's activities.

Some leaks posted to Reddit at the end of August 2019 by a GameStop conference hero in Nashville, Tennessee, may also have been fixed on a Halloween-inspired Season 3 theme that includes Crypto.

Slides from a child or presentation show the above image of Crypto, a new weapon called the Charge Rifle (confirmed for season 3), and a Halloween skin for Gibraltar that makes it look like Frankenstein's monster.

Because season 3 runs from October to the end of the year, it is unlikely that the theme for the entire season would relate exclusively to Halloween. But a kind of temporary event at the end of October with special skins such as this feels appropriate.

More recent data mining leaks indicate that the next hero in the pipeline is Crypto Kuben Blisk, a freelance pilot who leads the Apex Predators in the Titanfall games and the man who created the Apex Games after a conflict known as the Frontier War. There is even data to support an aggressive toolkit, but all of this is not yet confirmed.

Will Apex Legends contain season 3 events?

We can only assume that yes. After season 1 was completed in June, there was "Legendary Hunt." A September event during season 2 called the Voidwalker event focused on Wraith. Especially with Voidwalker, Respawn Entertainment seems to have a similar approach to Blizzard with Overwatch by building the history of his universe and the story of his characters by producing short animated films.

The format "Stories from the Outlands" was also applied to Wattson's story, so there is every reason to expect that we will get even more. Ultimately, we may have a kind of theatrical short film for each character.

With Voidwalker, Respawn has developed an effective formula for generating thematic in-game events that are started with story-oriented videos. These characters vary enormously, but it will be interesting to see what Respawn does with them in future seasons and events.

How much does the Apex Legends Battle 3 season pass cost?

Respawn officially confirmed in a blog post shortly before the start of season 1 that the combat pass would cost 950 Apex coins, approximately $ 9.50. But for 2,800 Apex coins, players can get the battle pass and automatically unlock the first 25 levels. This remained the case in season 2 and there is no reason to expect it to change in season 3.
